I have a little bit more time at my hands at this point, after the MCAT. I'm going to devote it to relaxing and working on secondary applications for various medical schools until school starts on Aug। 27th.

I can't live without music, still. Had a jam session with my brother this weekend, and we sounded really good. Playing in open D tuning sounds so natural to me- I love it. I could play for hours on end in open D (without a slide). I'll try open G soon. Would love to play live once more before medical school.

One thing that I miss is seeing live music. I remember the most fun I ever had at a show was seeing Keller Williams live at Old Settler's Music Fest. (You can hear the song "Apparition" on my web player).

So, just waiting for Costa Rica to play Mexico on September 6th. Vamos Ticos!

If we win, we will be one step closer to South Africa- and maybe I can go with my family next summer when the application process is over.

Planning to go camping in Enchanted Rock before school starts...should be a good time.
